THG Ingenuity appoints Gemma Spence as chief executive
THG Ingenuity has announced the appointment of Gemma Spence as chief executive.
The move comes as the business enters its next phase of growth as a proprietary commerce operating system.
Subscribe to TRBMost recently, she has served as chief executive and country manager for VML and WPP Luxembourg, leading its marketplace and Amazon Centre of Excellence.
Prior to that, she worked with Omnicom, where she became one of the youngest chief executives, and founded and scaled its ecommerce consultancy across EMEA.
Spence said: “Having spent 17+ years in this industry, what excites me the most is the exceptional talent, the operator-led capabilities and the speed of this organisation.

THG Ingenuity. has also announced that Alistair Crane will become a strategic consultant to the business. In addition, the company has confirmed that John Gallemore will move to the role of chairman.
