Burberry has hired former Superdry director of global technology Dafydd Moore as vice president business technology.

Moore worked at Superdry for almost two and a half years from June 2024. Before that, he was group director for IT strategy and architecture at Halfords, and previously held senior technology roles at Dyson and Waitrose.

Announcing his new position on LinkedIn, Moore said: “After a fantastic chapter at Superdry, I’m excited to share that today I’m starting a new role at Burberry!

“A huge thank you to everyone at Superdry for the support, collaboration and experiences over the last couple of years. I’m incredibly grateful for the people I’ve worked with and everything we achieved together turning that business around.

“Now looking forward to the next chapter and getting started at Burberry.”

In July, Burberry posted a 5% increase in first quarter retail revenue to £455 million after delivering growth across its womenswear, menswear, accessories and childrenswear divisions for the first time in three years.
