Tesco overhauls Fred & Flo baby range with new products and packaging
Tesco is relaunched its own-brand Fred & Flo baby and toddler range with a new look and the addition of new or improved products.
The move has also brought all of Tesco’s own-brand baby food together under the Fred & Flo brand.
Subscribe to TRBThe refreshed range spans baby and toddler food, nappies, nappy pants, wipes, toiletries and feeding accessories.
The relaunch also includes redesigned Fred & Flo packaging, made to be more “modern, fun and inclusive,” with the characters Fred and Flo featuring more prominently.
Tesco said more than half of the products in the range are either completely new or improved versions of existing products.
Improvements include the nappy range benefiting from advancements in nappy and nappy pant technology, with enhanced absorbency, an expanded size range in nappy pants, and more baby wipes per pack.
Meanwhile, the baby food range has been developed in line with voluntary industry guidelines from the NHS and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), supporting age-appropriate nutrition and feeding, along with advice from the British Nutrition Foundation.
Tesco has also improved on-pack information across the range, including guidance on pouches to encourage spoon-feeding.
To celebrate the relaunch, Tesco will run a 4-for-3 promotion across Fred & Flo baby essentials and baby food until Monday 7 September, in large Tesco stores and online.
Zoe Hussey, Tesco’s head of brand for baby, personal care, household & pet, said: “Relaunching Fred & Flo brings together an even broader range of products for babies, toddlers and young families under one trusted brand. With more than half of the range being either new or improved products, the focus has been on offering great quality, brilliant value and meeting the changing needs of families.”
