Retailers have their say at Retail Business Technology Expo seminars

Retail Business Technology Expo, the brand new event focusing on business solutions and technology for the retail and hospitality industries, has announced it will be giving retailers the chance to share ideas and strategies at four special seminar streams at its March event

Nick Field, Event Director, Retail Business Technology Expo, said, “Our Steering Committee is led by industry figures who are playing an instrumental role in this vital element of the event.  Using their feedback, and also research across the retail community, we have created four seminar theatres around the themes of – Internet Retailing, Cards and Payments, while the other two will cover all the varied aspects relating to retail and hospitality technology, providing visitors with a comprehensive overall programme.”

Paul Johnston, IT Operations Manager, Fat Face, said, “Retailers need a live showcase for all that’s new in technology. Having an event like Retail Business Technology Expo, which will not only feature the widest range of technology but also focus on the business benefits derived from them, is going to be a vital source of information for retail management teams.”

There will be attendees from IT departments, as well as general/operations managers and heads of marketing, security, supply chain, finance and e-commerce, from traditional retailers to hospitality, education, travel and leisure businesses, from the UK as well as Europe, with event coverage reaching France, Benelux, Germany, Holland, Spain and Scandinavia.
