Pets Corner appoints Nick Anderson as chief retail officer
Pets Corner has appointed Nick Anderson as its new chief retail officer.
Anderson has worked for the last 13 years at Dobbies Garden Centres, most recently as operations director.
Subscribe to TRBPrior to this, he worked as a regional manager at Wyevale Garden Centres, where he met Pets Corner chief executive Dean Richmond and established a strong working relationship. During his time there, Anderson played a key role in opening Pets Corner stores within garden centres, helping to expand the brand into new retail environments.
He began his career at Gateway and Somerfield, where he rose through the ranks to regional executive level.
Dean Richmond, chief executive at Pets Corner, said: “Nick brings outstanding operational expertise and a deep understanding of multi-site retail. We’ve worked closely together in the past and share the same values around people, standards and customer experience. His appointment further strengthens our leadership team as we continue to grow responsibly and invest in our colleagues and communities.”
Family run Pets Corner has more than 160 stores nationwide and also operates Dogwood Grooming Salons and Pet Practice veterinary surgeries.
