N Brown appoints Zoe Matthews as managing director of retail
N Brown has appointed former John Lewis executive Zoe Matthews as managing director of retail.
With more than 25 years’ experience of leading buying, product and retail transformation, Matthews has spent the last year working as senior vice president at Reliance Retail, the largest retailer in India by revenue, heading up its growth strategy.
Subscribe to TRBPrior to this, she served as product lifestyle director at John Lewis, where she led the fashion and home business and all category trading teams. Earlier in her career, Matthews held senior leadership roles at George at Asda, The Very Group, Gap Europe, White Stuff and House of Fraser, after beginning her retail career at M&S.
At N Brown, she will oversee the group’s retail strategy, trading and commercial performance. This will include working closely with teams across the business to strengthen N Brown’s customer proposition, accelerate commercial growth, and deliver its long-term growth ambitions.
