Miele signs for final retail unit at One Berkeley Street

Crosstree Real Estate Partners, the London based private real estate investment firm, has announced that domestic appliance brand Miele has signed for the final retail unit at One Berkeley Street.

The move marks the completion of the landmark mixed-use development in London’s Mayfair.

Designed by AHMM, One Berkeley Street comprises the 181-room ‘1 Hotel Mayfair’, 60,000 square feet of offices, and 20,000 square feet of flagship retail space.

Miele will open a 1,711 square foot Experience Centre in one of the development’s four retail spaces on Piccadilly. The remaining units have been taken by TechnoGym, Lotus Cars, and the GAIA restaurant concept from Dubai and Monte-Carlo.

The signing of Miele coincides with the full launch of ‘1 Hotel Mayfair. the sustainability-focused luxury lifestyle hotel operated by SH Hotels & Resorts.

Matt Mason, partner and head of development at Crosstree, said: “One Berkeley Street is Mayfair’s newest landmark, with its sustainability standards, quality and character of the space attracting leading brands seeking to make a statement in the capital.

“Miele’s flagship continues this trend, joining Lotus Cars’s debut global store, TechnoGym’s first standalone London store, GAIA and the launch of 1 Hotel Mayfair, which has set a new benchmark for sustainable luxury in London.”
