Marks & Spencer lowers hundreds of furniture prices

Marks & Spencer has lowered the prices of over 400 furniture styles as it passes back the benefits of lower costs in its supply chain to customers.

The retailer has applied price cuts of up to a third on some of its best selling lines in the categories of bedroom, dining room, living room and sofas.

The extent of the price drops means that 40% of M&S’ entire furniture range has a new lower price.

Heidi Woodhouse, director of home & beauty at M&S, said: “This week customers will see new lower prices on hundreds of our best-selling furniture lines – from beds and coffee tables to sofas.

“By working closely with our strategic supply partners to lower costs in our furniture supply chain, we’re pleased to be able to reaffirm this promise and pass on cost savings at a time when we know value is front of mind for our customers.”

In addition to strengthening the value of the range, M&S has been working on exclusive collaborations with Fired Earth and Swoon.
