Mamas & Papas to open more Next concessions
Mamas & Papas is expanding its network of concessions in Next stores this summer.
The nursery products and childrenswear retailer has opened a 2,000 square foot space at Next ‘s store at the Brent Cross shopping centre this week and will launch a similar sized space at Next’s shop at Milton Keynes Central Retail Park in July.
The concessions will sell the retailer’s range of travel systems, furniture and clothing and will also offer a personal shopper service, car seat consultations and click and collect.
Mamas & Papas chief operating officer Nathan Williams said: “Physical retail space remains an important pillar of our multichannel growth strategy alongside our online business. Feedback from our customers shows they value the opportunity to touch and feel our products and the consultative experience that our specialist assistants provide in-store.”
Williams also said the tie-up with Next had performed exceptionally well for both parties.
The retailer opened its first Next concession in 2018 at the Cribbs Causeway shopping centre in Bristol. In addition, last year it launched concessions at Sheffield Meadowhall and Manchester Arndale.
