Waitrose and Deliveroo team up on Friendsmas bundle
Waitrose and Deliveroo have teamed up to make socialising more convenient for customers by creating a Friendsmas bundle for hosts this festive season.
Customers can use the Deliveroo App to select the Friendsmas bundle which includes a range of Christmas items such as Mini All Butter Mince Pies, Lobster Thermidor Vol au Vents, Red Onion Baking Camembert, Mini Yule Logs and more.
Once shoppers have made their selection, their shopping will be delivered directly to their home in as little as 20 minutes.
Waitrose is predicting that Friendsmas is set to be bigger than ever this year following over 16.3 million #Friendsmas views on TikTok. In addition, Google searches for Friendsmas are up 200% compared to last year, with October this year 80% higher than October 2019.
James Lee, head of online planning at Waitrose, said: “We are predicting a bumper festive season for 2021 with many festive gatherings planned ahead of Christmas. To maximise time spent with friends and loved ones, we’ve created a Friendsmas bundle on Deliveroo so you can order your festive favourites with the touch of a button and have them delivered straight to your door, hassle free.”
