Tails.com hires first chief commercial officer

Tails.com has hired Paolo Woods-Wyatt as its first chief commercial officer.

In his new role, he will be responsible for exploring further product categories and driving international expansion for the pet food subscription retailer.

Woods-Wyatt has spent the last seven years at Graze, the healthy snack subscription company, where he launched the US arm of the business. On returning to the UK, he led Graze’s direct-to-consumer business and technology team while working as chief digital officer.

James Davidson, chief executive of Tails.com, said: “In the past five years, we have created an entirely new category of personalised subscription pet food in the UK and France. But, in reality, we are still just scraping the surface of that opportunity.

“Paolo’s experience in establishing and driving direct-to-consumer businesses in new markets and categories means that he is ideally suited to help us accelerate growth while we continue to deliver an excellent tails.com experience for our customers.”

Prior to Graze, Woods-Wyatt held various positions at SABMiller and OC&C Strategy Consultants.
