Naked Wines appoints new chair
Naked Wines has announced that Jack Pailing has become its non-executive chair with immediate effect.
Having served as the group’s senior independent director since 31 March, he has been appointed following a competitive recruitment process led by an external executive search firm.
In a statement, Naked Wines said Pailing has a deep understanding of its strategy and operations, as well as significant experience in governance and capital markets. The company is currently executing a new strategic plan that it announced back in March.
Deirdre Runnette, who stepped in as interim chair during the search process, will now return to her role as senior independent director.

“I look forward to continuing to work hard to create value for all our shareholders, employees and other stakeholders, alongside our CEO, Rodrigo Maza, and my trusted and valued board colleagues.
“I’d also like to add my own thanks to Deirdre, who has done a sterling job as interim chair over the past few months.”
