Domino’s appoints interim chief financial officer

Domino’s Pizza Group has appointed Neil Smith as its interim chief financial officer.

Due to take up his new role on 15 April, Smith held the same role at Ei Group until the company’s recent takeover by Stonegate Pub Company. He has also worked in senior finance roles at Compass Group, Virgin Media and Telewest.

Smith has succeeded the group’s previous chief financial officer David Bauernfeind who died in December 2019 in a tragic accident whilst on holiday with his family.

Matt Shattock, Domino’s Pizza Group chairman, said: “I look forward to welcoming Neil to the group. Neil will make an excellent addition to the team at this important time.”
