Aldi reveals quietest times to shop this summer holidays

Aldi has revealed the quietest times to shop in its stores to help families avoid busier periods during the summer holidays.

According to the supermarket’s in-store data, the best times to shop are typically before 10am and after 8pm on weekdays, with Saturday evenings also offering a quieter window for weekend shoppers.

Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, said: “We know the school holidays can be a busy and expensive time for families, so we want to make shopping as simple and affordable as possible.

“By visiting during quieter periods and making use of Aldi’s everyday value, shoppers can save both time and money this summer.”

After investing more than £200 million in price cuts so far this year, Aldi is working to remind families to take advantage of other savings across the store, including its ‘Super 6’ fresh produce deals, red sticker reductions, weekly offers and Specialbuys.

In addition, families are being invited to join Aldi’s Summer Support Scheme where each day in July and August, one family can win a £50 Aldi voucher to help with the costs of feeding and entertaining children during the school holidays.

Aldi said: “By shopping during quieter periods and making use of Aldi’s latest savings initiatives, families can make their money go further throughout the school holidays.”
