Zara opens flagship Cardiff store

Zara has opened a new flagship store at the St David’s shopping destination in Cardiff.

Set across two levels, the 36,500 square foot space sells the fashion retailer’s full range of womenswear, menswear and kidswear and features an automated collection point for customers to make swift product collection.

Part of the Inditex group, Zara has now joined its sister brands Bershka and Stradivarius at St David’s.

Speaking on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, Russell Loveland, senior portfolio director at Landsec, said: “The launch of Zara, alongside the other international brands to have recently joined St David’s, points to an exciting future for the destination and emphasises its attraction to leading retailers. St David’s has proven its resilience over the course of the last year, and with the likes of Zara now open we continue to strengthen its offer.”

Other recent signings at St David’s include Breitling and BoConcept.
