Wren Kitchens invests £1m in transformation of Cardiff showroom

Kitchen retailer Wren Kitchens has invested over £1 million in the transformation of its Cardiff showroom.

Situated on Cardiff Gate Retail Park, the 26,701 square foot store now features 74 new kitchen displays and virtual reality.

The shop was officially opened by The Lord Mayor of Cardiff Cllr Rod McKerlich and Lady Mayoress Sue McKerlich. To mark the opening, the Cardiff Foodbank received a £500 donation from the retailer.

The six-month refurbishment works included a complete reconfiguration of a mezzanine floor with open-plan design suites, virtual reality to bring dream kitchens to life and a new concept called Apollo Space, which showcases Wren’s range of storage solutions in a singular display.

Camille Dunn, Wren Kitchens Cardiff showroom manager, said: “It’s fantastic to officially reopen our showroom with a brand-new look, and we can now offer our customers an exciting and inspirational state-of-the-art experience when redesigning their kitchen.

“Our showroom looks absolutely outstanding after months of transforming it to the highest standards, including virtual reality, a huge appliance centre, a tap lab and a new spatial awareness display to help customers visualise their new kitchen layout.”

The store’s interactive spatial awareness display, which is new to Wren, allows customers to map out their new kitchen by using large boxes that represent units to give them a real feel of which layout could work for them.
