Yoox-Net-A-Porter appoints new general manager for Japan

Yoox-Net-A-Porter has appointed Philippe Larrieu as regional general manager for Japan.

Larrieu has joined the online luxury fashion retailer from Clarins where he was president and representative director for the country. He began his career in the Asia Pacific region 30 years ago and subsequently held management roles at a number of household names, including Chanel and L’Oréal.

Yoox-Net-A-Porter said Larrieu’s 15 years’ experience of working in Japan gives him deep knowledge of the local customer, trends and culture which will be key to driving its localised approach.

In his new position, he will oversee the business operations for Net-A-Porter, Mr Porter, The Outnet and Yoox in Japan whilst reporting to chief regional officer, Paolo Mascio.

Mascio said: “His extensive experience in luxury and fashion retail management, marketing and ecommerce in the region will bring great value to Yoox-Net-Porter. We look forward to seeing Philippe play a key role in driving growth and value creation in the market.”
