Uniqlo partners with Trussell Trust

Uniqlo is partnering with anti-poverty charity the Trussell Trust for a second year running as it celebrates its Arigato Festival.

Until 21 December, the Japanese clothing brand will be matching customer till point donations in the UK up to a total of £25,000.

Running across the EU and UK in the run-up to Christmas, the Arigato Festival takes its name from the Japanese word for thank you and aims to show gratitude to customers and local communities through special events, activities, and exclusive promotions.

During the period, Uniqlo will also be donating HEATTECH clothing items to people in need across the UK and 10 European markets through its longstanding charity partnerships.

Last year, the retailer donated  4,000 items of HEATTECH clothing and £10,000 to the Trussell Trust.

The charity expects to provide more than one million emergency food parcels across its network this winter.
