TK Maxx to open second Oxford Street store
TK Maxx is to open a second store in London’s Oxford Street at Mount Royal.
The flagship will comprise 22,500 square feet of space across the ground and first floor levels, with 70 feet of Oxford Street frontage.
The move follows the opening of the retailer’s first shop on the famous shopping street in 2019.
Subscribe to TRBIn addition, health and beauty retailer Superdrug has re-geared its retail lease for its 8,000 square foot store at Mount Royal with the commitment to another 10 years at the site.
Sarah Goldman, head of retail at GPE, said: “We are thrilled that TK Maxx has selected Mount Royal for its latest London flagship, and that Superdrug has renewed its commitment with us for another 10 years.
“Both deals are a positive reflection of the growing investment into the western end of Oxford Street and contribute to the street’s ongoing retail transformation.
“The location speaks for itself, as these retailers are set to join other big-name brands and attractions including Primark, Frameless and the recently signed Moco Museum.”
