Oasis and Warehouse Group makes two senior promotions

The Oasis and Warehouse Group has promoted Warehouse managing director Paula Stewart to the newly created role of chief product officer.

Stewart joined Warehouse in 1994 as a member of its buying team and was promoted to the roles of brand director in 2012 and managing director in 2019. She has been credited with leading the retailer’s recovery over the last two years.

In her new position, she will oversee the buying, merchandising, design and brand marketing functions for both Oasis and Warehouse.

In a further promotion, Oasis and Warehouse Group has appointed Matt Robinson as chief financial officer. He previously held the position of group finance director.

After joining the group in 2007, Robinson became head of finance for Oasis and Warehouse in 2013 and finance director in 2014. His new role will see him widen his remit from finance to include the property, IT and distribution teams.

Both Stewart and Robinson will report directly to Warehouse and Oasis Group chief executive Hash Ladha.

Ladha said “Both Paula and Matt have proved themselves over many years as dedicated Oasis and Warehouse team members who have excelled in their respective roles. Their promotion plays to the strengths of the talent across the group.

“I am confident that Paula, Matt and I, as part of the excellent leadership teams already in place, will continue to navigate the businesses through challenging times in the market and continue to innovate for our customers”
