Superdry to return to Aberdeen

Superdry is to return to Aberdeen with the opening of a new 6,000 square foot store at Bon Accord Centre.

The news follows the arrival of Danish retail chain Sostrene Grene and Fat Face securing space in April this year.

Rosie Taylor, Superdry head of stores, UK & Ireland, said: “Superdry is delighted to be returning to Aberdeen. Our new premium SD Co. By Superdry store concept has been thoughtfully designed to bring an elevated shopping experience to the city.

“We can’t wait to welcome both loyal customers and new fans to explore our brand, in a space that truly reflects our signature preppy aesthetic and quality-driven collections.”

Bon Accord Centre is anchored by Next, Boots, New Look and Waterstones.

Letting agent Richard Noble, director at FG Burnett, said: “Bon Accord remains very much on the radar of retailers illustrated by the recent raft of new entrants.

“What’s really encouraging is that we also have existing occupiers showing confidence in the location by renewing leases and then completing new shop fits which really freshens up the mall.”

Joint agent Kevin Sims of Sims Property Consultants added: “Sostrene Grene choosing Bon Accord for their Aberdeen store reflected the strength of the scheme, the lettings to fashion retailers Fat Face and now Superdry highlight the terrific location, car parking and tenant mix.”
