Sosandar announces board changes

Fashion retailer Sosandar has appointed Nick Mustoe as its non-executive chairman after he took on the position on an interim basis in March 2023.

Mustoe began his career in the 1980s working with advertising agencies Foote Cone and Belding and Lowe Howard Spink where clients included Tesco, Heineken, Whitbread, Vauxhall, Wicks, Weetabix, Bauer Publishing and Hanson Group Companies.

He then set up an agency called Mustoe Merriman Levy which he ran for 15 years.

When Mustoe Merriman Levy merged with a PR agency Geronimo to form Kindred, he subsequently led an MBO of Kindred in 2010 and continues to lead the company as chairman.

Commenting on his appointment, Mustoe said: “I am delighted to be appointed as permanent chair of Sosandar. We are at a very exciting moment in our growth journey as we take Sosandar’s unique product to more people across the globe through multiple channels.”

Sosandar has also announced that Jon Wragg, independent non-executive director, has stepped down from the board to focus on other commitments.

Mustoe added: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Jon for his contribution to the company since he joined the board, he has provided sound counsel and advice throughout. We wish Jon all the very best.”

Earlier this week, Sosandar announced that its first-half net revenue increased by 6% to £22.2 million.
