Shoe Zone hires new finance director Terry Boot
Shoe Zone has appointed Terry Boot as its new finance director with immediate effect.
With over 25 years’ experience in the UK B2C and European retail markets, Boot was previously working as chief executive of jewellery buying group The Company of Master Jewellers. However, he has also worked extensively in the footwear retail sector and was finance director and management services director of Brantano UK and Jones Bootmaker from 2008 to 2016.
Subscribe to TRBEarlier in his career, Boot worked with Shoe City, Millets Leisure and Olympus Sports.
Anthony Smith, Shoe Zone chief executive, said: “We delighted that Terry has agreed to join Shoe Zone and are confident that his considerable experience will strengthen the board.”
Boot has succeeded Peter Foot who stepped down in February after seven months in the role.
