Seasalt to expand US presence
Seasalt Cornwall is to open at least two further stores in the US following the success of its first location in the country.
The fashion brand told The Times that the shop in Falmouth in Massachusetts has seen customers spend on average 140% more than in UK stores.
Subscribe to TRBSeasalt is planning to launch a new site at The Grove in Shrewsbury in New Jersey in March. This will be followed by a second opening in May at Mark Square, Portsmouth in New Hampshire.
The company told the publication: “US customers are responding very positively to the brand, spending with us when they visit and requesting to hear more about the brand.”
Seasalt is also planning to open two stores on the US east coast where locations have yet to be confirmed. It is also partnering with US department store Nordstrom where it will begin selling a selection of clothing and its full womenswear lines next year.
