René Caovilla opens pop-up boutique in Shanghai
Luxury Italian footwear brand René Caovilla is continuing its expansion into China with the opening of a new pop-up boutique in Shanghai’s Plaza 66.
The move follows the brand’s launch of flagship online shop on Alibaba’s Tmall and the opening of a standalone store at SKP Beijing.
Designed by Italian architects M2atelier, the pop-up aims to create an immersive and indulgent experience for Chinese customers and features luxurious seating and walls decorated with hand-painted wallpaper.
The store offers more than 10 styles of shoe and boot designs that have all been given a new twist to appeal to the local market.
Founded by Edoardo Caovilla in Venice, Maison René Caovilla has been making shoes for over eight decades.
