Pandora opens first UK standalone airport store

Pandora has opened its first standalone airport store in the UK at Manchester Airport as part of a travel retail expansion.

The shop in Terminal 2 has been developed in line with the jewellery brand’s newest visual identity and features a striking 14-metre pink-tiled façade.

Inside, travellers can shop the full range of Pandora jewellery collections, including Pandora Lab-Grown Diamonds, and can also take advantage of engraving services.

Reflecting its international setting, the store will also be the first Pandora shop in the UK to offer a selection of national icon travel charms from destinations around the world.

Ross Monaghan, sales director at Pandora UK & Ireland. “We’re incredibly proud to open our first ever standalone airport store and delighted to partner with Manchester – a city that holds huge importance for Pandora in the UK.

“This new location comes at the perfect moment in the airport’s development and marks an exciting new chapter in our retail journey.

“Our aim is to meet every type of traveller — whether they’re gifting or self-purchasing — with a wide range of beautifully crafted jewellery, from everyday favourites to something more personal.

“The team is excited to bring Pandora to life in such a dynamic location and to connect with both loyal and first-time customers on the move.”

The opening forms part of Pandora’s broader airport retail expansion and is the first of three new airport openings planned for 2025.  A second location is set to open in Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal in mid-August and third in London Luton Airport in early September.
