Burberry appoints former Pandora CEO Alexander Lacik as non-executive director

Burberry has appointed former Pandora chief executive Alexander Lacik as a non-executive director, with effect from 1 September. He will also join the nomination committee.

Lacik was Pandora’s chief executive and president from 2019 to March 2026, where he was credited with delivering a sustained period of profitable growth. During that time, he strengthened Pandora’s position through brand elevation, product innovation, digital growth and operational excellence.

Before Pandora, he held a number of senior international leadership positions at Reckitt Benckiser and Procter & Gamble over a 30-year period.

Lacik currently also sits on the board of Essity AB, a global hygiene and health business listed in Sweden, and Aerbio, a biotech company headquartered in Denmark.

Gerry Murphy, chair of Burberry, said: “Alexander’s extensive experience of brand and business transformations and knowledge of global consumers make him a valuable addition to Burberry’s board and we are delighted he has accepted our invitation.”
