Mytheresa and Vestiaire Collective expand existing partnership to UK

Mytheresa has expanded its partnership with pre-loved fashion platform Vestiaire Collective to the UK.

The online luxury fashion retailer has worked with Vestiare to create a resale service for Mytheresa’s high-end customers and is now inviting its top UK clients to participate via a dedicated digital interface.

Customers wishing to sell pre-loved items will be given a price quote after they have uploaded the required information. Once the item has arrived at Vestiaire Collective’s newly launched UK authentication centre and has undergone quality and authentication checks, customers will receive immediate payment in the form of a Mytheresa store credit.

In a joint statement, the two companies said: “Both Mytheresa and Vestiaire Collective are committed to rolling out this service to even more Mytheresa customers in the coming months. This initiative marks the first time that a multi-brand luxury platform embraces designer resale in a comprehensive way to reinforce the shift to circularity as part of the fashion ecosystem.”

The programme has been live in Europe since June 2021 for selected Mytheresa top clients and will expand globally at a later date.
