Marks & Spencer appoints new lingerie director

Marks & Spencer has appointed Charlotte Davies as its new lingerie director.

According to Drapers, she will succeed Laura Charles who is stepping down from the role this month after a ten-year stint with the retailer. Charles joined the company in 2014 as head of buying lingerie before being promoted to lingerie director in 2018.

Due to officially take up her new position at the end of June, Davies currently works as chief product officer at Hunkemöller where she has also worked as brand director and buying director since joining the lingerie retailer in 2015.

Earlier in her career, she worked as Marks & Spencer’s head of buying for four years.
