Kering appoints Cédric Charbit to executive committee

Luxury group Kering has appointed Cédric Charbit  to its executive committee.

The appointment follows two years of strong growth for the fashion house under Charbit’s leadership as chief executive.

Charbit began his career at Printemps as a buyer for the luxury category before being moving on to become deputy chief executive of Pucci. He then took on the role of vice president of products and communications at Kering’ s Saint Laurent.  He joined Balenciaga as chief executive in 2016.

Kering’s other companies include Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen and Boucheron. It also owns Pomellato, DoDo, Qeelin, Ulysse Nardin, Girard-Perregaux and Kering Eyewear. In 2018 Kering’s revenue was €13.7 billion.
