Jigsaw launches repair service as part of sustainability model

Jigsaw is expanding its sustainable fashion model ‘Jigsaw Forever’ with the introduction of a ‘Repair Rewear’ service.

Offered from Jigsaw’s Kensington High Street store in London, the service will be free of charge for a year post-purchase, but will then be subject to a fee.

In addition, Jigsaw is running a pop-up at the store where a collection of pre-loved and archival Jigsaw garments will be sold until stocks last.

Jigsaw Forever services can also be accessed via a dedicated website and on My Wardrobe HQ where Jigsaw offers rental, subscription and resale services.

Beth Butterwick, Jigsaw chief executive, said: “With the secondary market growing 11 times faster than the primary, sustainability is undoubtedly going to transform the fashion industry over the next ten years.

“Our research tells us that customers value the beauty of our products, often keeping them in their wardrobes for years.

“Our partnership with MWHQ not only allows existing customers and new to enjoy standout pieces via rental and subscription, but as excitingly, discover unique pre-lived Jigsaw unicorn pieces.

“With style longevity enduring over disposable fashion, these options open us up to a much broader audience of age groups to fall in love with 50 years of Jigsaw ethos.”
