Retail visionary and eco-activist Stuart Trevor joins PiRA24 judging panel
We’re thrilled to announce the latest addition to our judging panel for the People in Retail Awards—none other than the celebrated Stuart Trevor.
With over 35 years of invaluable experience in the retail industry, Stuart brings a wealth of expertise and insight to the table.
Stuart Trevor commented: “I have been working in retail for over 35 years starting out at Reiss aged 18, founding AllSaints at 28 years old, and setting the foundations for both these global brands. I could not have achieved any of that without the support of my team, the amazing colleagues I had the honour of working with in all aspects of the business, especially in the retail stores where they’re at the forefront of the business yet often not celebrated for their dedication and commitment to the business.”
At the People in Retail Awards, we’re committed to honoring excellence while championing positive change within the industry. Stuart Trevor’s recent recognition as an activist for change in the fashion industry underscores the urgency of addressing the environmental challenges posed by mass production and fast fashion. With billions of garments produced worldwide and vast quantities ending up in landfills every day, Stuart is determined to drive meaningful change and pave the way for a more sustainable future.
As eco-anxiety among younger generations continues to rise, there’s a growing awareness of the need to prioritise sustainability and responsible consumption. Stuart’s voice and perspective are invaluable in the mission to make a meaningful impact and drive positive change in the retail sector.
“The People in Retail Awards are more than just a celebration of industry excellence—they’re a movement dedicated to recognizing the unsung heroes who drive innovation and progress in retail” added Stuart
“I’m really excited about joining up with the team at The People in Retail Awards”
We’re honored to have Stuart Trevor join us on this journey and look forward to the contributions he’ll make to our judging panel. Together, we’re shaping the future of retail and paving the way for a more sustainable, inclusive industry.
