In The Style boosts leadership team with new digital and technology appointment

In The Style, the online womenswear fashion brand, has bolstered its leadership team with the hiring of John Allen as chief technology officer and chief digital officer.

With more than 20 years’ experience in customer-facing technology and digital leadership roles, Allen was previously chief executive of sustainable fashion brand Nobody’s Child, and is a former chief technology officer of Missguided. His CV also includes stints at ASOS and M&M Direct.

In his new position, Allen will be responsible for In The Style’s ongoing digital and technological development including the retailer’s proprietary In The Style app.

Adam Frisby, chief executive of In The Style, said: “We are really excited to welcome John to the business. His expertise and experience as a proven leader in digital businesses will be invaluable over the next phases of In The Style’s exciting, long-term development.”

Founded by Frisby in 2013, In The Style uses an influencer collaboration model. The company currently partners with a stable of 14 influencers, including Dani Dyer, Jacqueline Jossa and Billie Faiers.
