Greggs and Primark open flagship ‘Tasty by Greggs’ café in Bristol

Greggs and Primark have opened a fourth ‘Tasty by Greggs’ café on the first floor of Primark’s Bristol Shopping Quarter store.

The move follows successful openings in Primark’s Birmingham, Oxford Street East and Newcastle Northumberland Street shops.

The Bristol café can seat up to 102 people and will offer a menu of Greggs classics such as sausage rolls, bakes, sweet treats and Fairtrade freshly ground coffee, as well as sharing size boxes of pizzas, iced lattes, and Greggs’ newly launched Vegan Mexican Chicken Free Bake. Customers will also be able to make Click + Collect orders via the Greggs App.

Tony Rowson, property director at Greggs, said: “Following the success of our first three ‘’Tasty by Greggs’ cafés, we’re delighted to be bring this exciting concept to Greggs fans in Bristol, and the opening marks another milestone moment in our efforts to open in new on-the-go locations where people work, shop and travel.”

Perfect for Instagram and TikTok feeds, the cafe’s vibrant interior features doughnut inspired seating booths, a sausage roll swing and a doughnut and coffee air balloon wall that has been inspired by Bristol’s International Balloon Fiesta.

Tim Kelly, director of new business development at Primark, said: “We’re thrilled with the success of our partnership with Greggs to date – ranging from three sell-out collections to now four brilliant cafes, we’re constantly on the lookout for new ways to inspire and excite customers. We’re excited to be extending our partnership to new locations including Bristol so more customers can visit two of the best brands on the British high street in one go.”
