Filippa K appoints Marie Forssenius as its permanent chief executive
Swedish fashion brand Filippa K has appointed Marie Forssenius as its chief executive on a permanent basis.
She has been working as the brand’s acting chief executive since April 2023 after previously serving as chief financial and chief operating officer.
The promotion comes as Filippa K focuses on international expansion. The brand said Forssenius has already begun shaping the company’s future direction around her strong vision for its structure and values.
She recently oversaw the hiring of Anna Teurnell as the brand’s creative lead.
Earlier this month, Filippa K announced that it had appointed Ida Petersson as a board member as it looked to benefit from her experience of working with luxury retailers such as Harvey Nichols, Net-a-Porter and Browns.
