Fashion chain Select pursues CVA

Genus UK has asked corporate recovery and business advisory firm Quantuma to advise on a Company Voluntary Arrangement for its Select fashion chain.

The retailer operates an online business and 183 stores across the UK which are supported by a centralised head office and warehouse facilities. The company has around 2,000 employees.

Quantuma partners Andrew Andronikou, Andrew Hosking and Carl Jackson have assisted the Genus board of directors to formulate proposals for a CVA which were filed at the High Court of Justice on 26 March.

The company said the CVA includes plans to keep all shops open although there is an option for some landlords to “take back loss making sites”.
