eBay opens authentic streetwear store in NYC
eBay has launched a new retail shop in New York where customers can buy from a selection of authentic streetwear and sneakers from top eBay sellers.
Canal Street Wear will offer shoppers access to some of the most popular brands with items being verified by eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee.
The new shop is situated on Manhattan’s Canal Street which has for some time been a hub for bootleg, counterfeit and grey market goods.
Charis Marquez, global VP of fashion at eBay, said: “Enthusiasts go to eBay to find every drop from the past few decades, from late 90’s Supreme and Virgil era Louis Vuitton, to younger brands like Palace and Aimé Leon Dore.

eBay said global searches for streetwear have increased by more than 150% since the beginning of the year.
In addition to buying, shoppers can take in streetwear items from their own wardrobes to have them authenticated on-site by eBay’s team of streetwear experts.
