M&S launches resale shop on eBay to give clothes another life
M&S has launched a resale service for clothing, footwear and accessories on eBay.
Powered by Reskinned, the M&S x eBay store aims to make it easy for customers to trade in M&S purchases they no longer wear and to shop for pre-loved items.
The retailer said the new partnership brings everything together in one online experience to enable customers to recycle and repurchase.
Customers can use the recycling service by completing a short form on M&S.com or scanning in-store QR codes, then sending pre-loved items free via courier to Reskinned.
Each return with at least one M&S item earns a £5 voucher for orders of £35 or more on M&S.com. Resellable items are cleaned, repaired, and sold on the M&S x eBay store, while the rest are responsibly repurposed or recycled.
The move is the the latest initiative under Another Life which covers M&S’s approach to circularity with a focus on re-wear, repair, recycle and resale.

“We’re delighted to be partnering with the pre-loved experts at eBay and Reskinned to launch a dedicated resale platform.
“This not only offers more ways for customers to give items Another Life, but also an opportunity for customers to purchase items they might have missed from previous seasons – which are pre-loved.”
M&S has pledged to contribute 15% of its profits from sales through the store to longstanding charity partner Oxfam.
