Dr. Martens reshapes leadership with key general manager appointments
Dr. Martens has promoted four of its executives to general manager roles as part of plans to “simplify” its operating model in line with its consumer-first strategy.
This has included Nick Duff being appointed as UK general manager, Nathalie Schneider as France general manager, Kristin Staeren as DACH general manager, and Giorgio Trevisan as Italy general manager.

Meanwhile, Dr. Martens’ US market will continue to be directly run by Paul Zadoff, president of Americas.
The six markets account for over 80% of the brand’s global revenues and each will now be overseen by a dedicated leader and team.
Dr. Martens is also simplifying its leadership structure, with a newly created executive team led by chief executive Ije Nwokorie.
The team now comprises Nwokorie; Zadoff; Giles Wilson, chief financial officer; Carla Murphy, chief brand officer; Anna Duffiet, interim chief operating officer; Mike Stopforth, chief commercial officer; Bridget Jolliffe, chief people officer; and Katherine Bellau, chief legal officer and company secretary.
Nwokorie said: “Over the past year we have reorganised our business and ways of working so that we are truly consumer-first, as opposed to channel-led.
“I am excited to work alongside our leadership team, combining experienced Dr. Martens leaders and world-class talent from some of the most desired global brands.
“They will each play a significant role in helping us to deliver against our strategy and scale the business in the years ahead.”
In January, Dr. Martens said it was making good progress in its turnaround strategy, with full-price direct-to-consumer revenue up 2% in its financial year to date.
