Depop appoints Peter Semple as chief executive
Depop has appointed Peter Semple as chief executive following his successful tenure as interim CEO.
Semple joined the second-hand fashion marketplace in 2019 as chief marketing officer and has also served as chief brand officer with the company. Prior to that, he worked in senior roles at Google, Anomaly and VCCP.
Having been a key member of Depop’s executive team, he has been credited with shaping the strategic vision of the business and leading the global creative efforts that have driven its growth.
With headquarters in London and offices in New York and Manchester, Depop became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Etsy in 2021.
