ASOS appoints Google executive to board
ASOS has strengthened its board with the appointment of Marie Gulin-Merle as a non-executive director.
Based in New York, Gulin-Merle currently works as global vice president of ads marketing at Google. Prior to this, she was chief marketing officer of Calvin Klein and chief digital officer of the brand’s parent company, PVH. Her CV also includes a long period at L’Oreal where her most recent role was group chief marketing officer USA.
Gulin-Merle will join the ASOS board on 1 February 2023 and will also serve on the remuneration committee.
Jørgen Lindemann, ASOS chairman, said: “On behalf of the board, I want to welcome Marie to ASOS. Marie joins us with a depth of relevant industry knowledge across international ecommerce, marketing, beauty and brands. The board will greatly benefit from Marie’s expertise, and we look forward to working closely with her.”
