Anya Hindmarch to launch Universal Bag in collaboration with Asda and Co-op

Anya Hindmarch has teamed up with Asda and Co-op on new versions of the Universal Bag.

The fashion designer has been collaborating with retailers across the world on a new campaign, which aims to inspire further change in consumer behaviour by creating a new shopping bag solution to help reduce plastic waste.

The Universal Bag is the next generation of reusable bag and is 100% recycled and recyclable.

The Asda version will be available in green from the end of February in 300 stores nationwide, while the blue Co-op version will be offered in 315 stores from the end March.

These latest partnerships follow successful ongoing editions of the bag with Sainbury’s, Waitrose and Selfridges Food Halls in the UK, as well as City’SUPER in Hong Kong.

More global partnerships are set to follow later in the year.

Designed by Hidmarch and manufactured by the Solent Group, the Universal Bag retails for £10 and comes with a ten-year guarantee. Shoppers can recycle their bag by folding it into its free returns pocket for a replacement.
