YouGarden acquires Gardening Direct
Horticultural product retailer YouGarden has acquired Gardening Direct, the online and mail order supplier of live plants.
The company said the acquisition will enhance its product proposition around the smaller bedding plants category.
Following the purchase, YouGarden will use its specialist infrastructure, management expertise and operations to improve the overall Gardening Direct consumer experience. It will also apply its data-led approach to marketing and procurement, with the aim of enhancing customer acquisition and value and strengthening the Gardening Direct product range.
