Grosvenor appoints new Liverpool ONE lead
Grosvenor has appointed Chris Jukes as director of the Liverpool ONE shopping destination.
He will succeed Alison Clegg who is retiring after holding the position for 15 years.
Jukes has worked with Grosvenor since 2005 in various finance positions in Grosvenor Property UK and the broader Grosvenor business. He is currently responsible for finance in the UK property development and investment teams, including Liverpool ONE.
Meanwhile Clegg joined Grosvenor in March 2007 ahead of the opening of the first phase of Liverpool ONE the following year. She has been credited with leading the destination to a significant post-pandemic bounce back.
Having recently welcomed Charlotte Tilbury’s first boutique outside London and Gravity’s new flagship entertainment venue, Liverpool ONE’s evolving offer has led sales to increase by 20.9% in the year-to-date compared to 2019.

Since 2008, through sensitive stewardship it has successfully integrated into the wider city centre whilst retaining its unique sense of place.

Jukes will take up his new position on 1 December and will continue to work alongside Clegg until her retirement in March 2023.

I shall leave with huge pride in what we have achieved, some sadness, but with great confidence in Chris and his ability to take Liverpool ONE on the next stage of its journey.”
