Cribbs Mall to welcome five new brands

Cribbs Mall in Bristol is to welcome five new retailers after signing The Entertainer, Mango, The Works, Suit Direct and Rituals.

The brands have taken a combined area of 13,607 square feet.

Toy retailer The Entertainer will occupy a 3,788 square foot unit on the upper level of Cribbs Mall, while Spanish fashion brand Mango will be taking a 10-year lease on a 3,858 square foot former Gap store next to Apple and Sky.

In addition, craft, book and stationery retailer The Works has signed for a 2,366 square foot unit and beauty specialist Rituals has taken 1,802 square feet of space for its first store in the West Country.

In a final signing, Suit Direct will occupy a 1,793 square foot shop.

Simon Green, portfolio director at M&G Real Estate, said: “These new lettings demonstrate the strength of large regional retail and leisure centres in strategic, accessible locations.

“We are also excited to be part of the wider growth of the Cribbs Causeway area which will include thousands of new homes and a new arena at YTL’s Filton Airfield development, as well as the arrival of Bristol Zoo who will be moving to the nearby Wild Place Project. All of this will help to further strengthen footfall across Cribbs Causeway and continue to make it an attractive home for retailers.”
