Significant functionality improvements including captions, co-op shopping, and multicart, create more intuitive, inclusive, and accessible, customer-driven shopping experiences.
eyezon, the on-demand human-centric social shopping platform that connects in real-time, e-commerce shoppers with shop assistants in-store, via live stream, has designed and released a new, upgraded widget 2.0.
A more modern, transparent UI will allow retailers to integrate the eyezon widget harmoniously into their website, while the improved UX will immerse a customer into the stream as quickly as possible.
In addition to enhancing the widget’s UI and UX, a host of new features have been developed to make live shopping more user-friendly and intuitive for customers. These include captions, co-op shopping, and multicart.
Notably, eyezon is the first to offer captioning in real-time for live shopping experiences with the release of the new captions feature. Available in 6 languages, captions can be displayed with the click of an icon, making live shopping accessible even to customers with hearing impairments.
Co-op shopping lets customers invite friends and family to their personal on-demand live stream where they can make weighted purchases together, after receiving expert recommendations from the streamer. Multicart allows the streamers to scan the barcodes of several products and instantly send them to the customer’s cart so they can easily purchase several products at once during their live shopping session.

Additional updates include customers being able to rate their entire stream. This will help brands understand how their customers have engaged with live video shopping and in turn, how this experience affects conversions. The recorded stream can also be saved and rewatched later or shared on social media, increasing further conversions post-stream.
