Quiz hires Lesley Morton as head of marketing

Quiz, the fast-fashion womenswear brand, has hired Lesley Morton, the former head of marketing and brand communications at Ultimo, as its new head of marketing.

Prior to working with Ultimo, Morton was head of brand as Stripe Communications, the consumer communications agency for John Lewis, Magners Cider, IRN-BRU and Paddy Power. She has also worked in consultancy roles at CSM Sport and Entertainment where she managed youth marketing strategies for clients including Impulse and Simple and Sure as well as music strategies for Miller Genuine Draft.

Sheraz Ramzan, chief commercial officer of Quiz, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Lesley to Quiz. Her impressive experience and understanding of the Quiz brand mean that she is well placed to develop innovative campaigns that bring a step change in brand awareness and create new experiences that delight new and existing customers around the world.”

With Quiz planning to grow both in the UK and overseas, Morton will be responsible for driving both offline and online areas of marketing and developing creative marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement. This will include a focus on creating new and fresh content and driving engagement and traffic through Quiz’s social channels.

As part of its online strategy, Quiz is launching new international websites, broadening its product ranges and developing and improving its existing mobile channel.

Quiz has more than 300 standalone stores, concessions, franchise stores, wholesale partners and international online partners in 19 countries.
