99p stores to open first store in Scotland

99p Stores is to open its first Scottish store in Ayr tomorrow.
Situated in the Ayr Central shopping centre, the store is part of a major expansion north of the border by the single price point retailer.
With a sales area of 5,900 sq ft, the store on Smith Street has undergone a £250,000 re-fit.
The store is the 228th branch of the UK and Ireland discount brand to open.
It has also been announced that six further stores will be opening in Scotland, creating over 500 new jobs over the next three years.
