Dusk drops plans for £300m London Stock Exchange float
Dusk has dropped plans for a £300 million float on the London Stock Exchange.
According to a report by Sky News, the online homeware and furniture retailer has decided against pursuing an initial public offering (IPO) for the foreseeable future and will therefore remain privately owned.
Subscribe to TRBThe company had appointed two sets of investment bankers to advise on the potential move.
Sources close to Dusk told Sky News that the retailer was trading well but has decided to revisit an IPO at some point in the future.
In May, the company teamed up with online retailer Very to make a selection of its bestselling furniture, upholstery and textile products available to a new audience, launching with 170 lines on the platform.
It has also recently announced that it is entering the trade market through a new B2B division called Dusk Trade, that will run alongside its consumer channel.
