St David’s Cardiff submits plans to transform Queens Arcade
The owner of the St David’s Cardiff has submitted a planning application for the first phase of works to transform Queens Arcade into a new food, beverage and leisure destination.
The plans include space for three new restaurants, as well as enhancements to the building’s façade.
Subscribe to TRBLandsec said the proposals will complement the existing prime retail offer at St David’s and will help drive footfall, dwell time and destination appeal.
St David’s has seen footfall increase by 2.1% over the last 12 months and is now 97% occupied, following recent openings by Sephora, Pure Seoul, Pop Mart and JD Sports.

St. David’s is also set to become the home of the UK’s largest Hollywood Bowl which will open later this year and feature the company’s first-ever e-karting concept.
